I want to speak to you plainly, because the moment you're in right now doesn't leave room for brochures or buzzwords. Someone you love needs more help than you can give alone — and that realization is one of the hardest a person can face.
I've been where you are. In 1975, my grandmother, Mrs. Losie T. Porter, was diagnosed with cervical cancer. As her health declined, our family sat together and asked the question every family eventually asks: who do we trust with her?
That question changed my life. It became my calling. And it became Annie Wilson Homecare — a small agency built on the belief that the answer to that question should never be a stranger who doesn't care, a facility that doesn't feel like home, or a family left to figure it out alone.
What we do is not complicated. We show up. We sit with your loved one, share a meal, run an errand, make sure they feel seen. We stay through the night if that's what your family needs. We travel to their home, their hospital room, their assisted living facility — wherever they are, we follow.
Our caregivers are background-checked through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, certified in CPR and infection control, and fully bonded. But more than credentials — they were chosen because they genuinely care. That is something you can feel in the first five minutes.

We offer three levels of care, depending on what your family needs most:
- Companionship — a familiar, caring face for conversation, errands, activities, and connection. For loved ones who need engagement and presence, not isolation.
- Sitter Care — attentive supervision for a few hours, a full day, or a weekend. For families who need relief knowing their loved one is safe and cared for while they rest.
- Live-In Care — consistent, around-the-clock support in the home they love. For families who want their loved one to stay surrounded by the familiar without being left unattended.
We are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We ask for a minimum of four hours per visit, and we will flex around your schedule — not ours.
The first conversation costs nothing. There is no pressure, no pitch, no obligation. You tell us about your loved one — their routines, their personality, what makes them comfortable — and we'll tell you honestly what we think makes sense.
